What is Form 941?
The quarterly payroll tax return most U.S. employers file: federal income tax withheld from employees, plus social security and Medicare tax (both shares), for one quarter of 2026. It reconciles the quarter's tax liability with the deposits made, gives the deposit schedule, and ends in a balance due or an overpayment. Includes the Form 941-V payment voucher.
