What is Richiesta accredito rimborsi su conto corrente (persone fisiche)?
When the Agenzia delle Entrate owes an individual a tax refund, for example an IRPEF refund from a return filed without an employer to pay it, it can credit the money straight to the taxpayer's bank or postal account. To set this up, the taxpayer gives the account details once, either online through the Agenzia's services or on this paper form for individuals (persone fisiche). Later refunds and other payments then go to that account.
The form has two boxes: 1 to have refunds credited to your own current account, and 2 to cancel an earlier request so refunds come by postal or bank cheque instead. You give your personal details and codice fiscale, then either an Italian IBAN (27 characters) or a foreign account. The instructions say the account must be in the taxpayer's name. The form also has a delegation part for someone who hands it in for you.
The PDF has no fillable fields, so FileIt prints your answers onto the official page by position: the codice fiscale and IBAN one character per box, and dates in their boxes. It checks the codice fiscale's check letter and the IBAN, and files the PDF in your vault. You sign it by hand and take it to an Agenzia office. FileIt never submits anything.
