What is GRA G0009 property tax return (company)?

GRA's guide says a company registered in and carrying on business in Guyana that held net property of forty million dollars or more on the last day of the year before the year of assessment files form G0009, the company version of the property tax return.

The return gives the company's TIN, registration and Small Business Certificate numbers and name, the value of its business and non-business property in and out of Guyana, its deductions and exemptions, any tax holiday property, the tax on its chargeable net property and set-offs. Line 5 on page 1 repeats the tax due.

FileIt adds up the totals and fills GRA's own PDF, one digit per box. The tax on line 17 is the company's own figure, from the rates in the Act. The secretary or another responsible officer, or an attorney or agent, signs it by hand. FileIt never submits it.
