What is INSS 6-065 — Voluntary IRPF withholding on a pension?
Form 6-065 is published by the Instituto Nacional de la Seguridad Social (INSS). A pensioner uses it to ask for a voluntary IRPF withholding rate on their Social Security pension, or to end one. The form says a voluntary rate must in any case be higher than the rate applied to your pension now. The current edition is 6-065 cas V.8 of 27 July 2023.
To end a voluntary rate you choose whether it ends for the next tax year, or for the current year if the voluntary rate started in an earlier year. The form explains that the new rate will then be the one that follows from your communication of personal and family situation, which is the basis for the withholding under the IRPF law.
FileIt explains every box in English, checks DNI and NIE letters, and prints your answers neatly onto the INSS's official PDF, including names with letters such as ł, ș or ü. The finished form is saved in your FileIt vault. FileIt never sends anything to the INSS.
