What is INSS 6-054 — Income and residence declaration?

Form 6-054 is published by the Instituto Nacional de la Seguridad Social (INSS). A pensioner uses it to declare their annual income and, if married, their spouse's, for this year and last year, and/or to prove their residence in Spain for the minimum-pension supplement (complemento por mínimos). The current edition is 6-054 cas V.14 of 19 January 2026.

The income table has six kinds of income for each year: net income from salaried work, economic activities, real-estate capital, movable capital (interest and dividends), and capital gains, plus the gross amount of any pension from a foreign body with its country. The form says every box must be filled in, with 0 where there is no income of that kind. A foreign national who lives in Spain gives the start and end dates shown on their identity document.

FileIt explains every box in English, checks DNI and NIE letters and that each income row is complete, and prints your answers neatly onto the INSS's official PDF, including names with letters such as ł, ș or ü. The finished form is saved in your FileIt vault. FileIt never sends anything to the INSS.
