What is RF-1530E tax payment agreement application?

RF-1530E is the Norwegian Tax Administration's (Skatteetaten) English application for a payment deferral or a payment agreement. The main rule is that tax must be paid by the due date, and the form says this is applied very strictly; a payment agreement is an exception the Collection Agency may grant.

The form sets out the criteria. To pay in instalments, the claims must total less than NOK 100,000, be paid in full no later than 12 months after the due date of the oldest claim, and each instalment must be at least NOK 500 a month. A deferral covers only one claim, under NOK 100,000, for up to four months from its due date. You must be at least 18, have met your payment and reporting obligations during the past year, and not have received a notice of attachment for these claims or a decision on deductions from your income. You still pay interest on overdue payments.

You propose a payment plan, explain why you can't pay on time, and show your household: marital status, children, monthly income for you and your spouse or partner, housing and other expenses, and your assets. FileIt totals the income and expense tables, prints everything into Skatteetaten's PDF and saves it in your vault.
