What is Cerfa 15725 - joint PACS declaration?
A PACS (pacte civil de solidarité) is a contract between two adults, of the same or different sex, to organise their life together. To register one, the partners go together to the civil registrar (officier de l'état civil) of the town where they set up their shared home, or to a French consulate if they live abroad, and hand over cerfa 15725 with their other documents.
The form takes each partner's identity, nationality and parents, then two sworn statements made together: that no family or in-law tie bars the PACS, and that the couple shares a home at the address given. Last, the partners say which agreement they will use: the standard one on cerfa 15726, or one they drew up themselves.
FileIt walks both partners through every question in English, prints the answers into the official cerfa (accents and letters such as ł or ș included) and keeps the PDF in your vault. You sign and take it to the mairie yourselves. FileIt never submits anything.
